Botshabelo Mall saw trading density growth of 21.5% at 30 June 2018. The mall opened during a subdued economic environment when retailers were downsizing, adding pressure to the vacancy rate. At 30 June 2018, Botshabelo Mall saw an improvement in the vacancy rate from of 8.5% at 31 December 2018 to 7.3%. The positive trading performance and improved leasing enquiries continue to bode well for the centre going forward.
